Description:

The misting of the The Pool Cooler takes advantage of the cooling effect of evaporation by introducing quantities of water vapor or mist into the atmosphere - evaporative cooling. The Pool Cooler diverts a portion of the total amount of pool water to be cooled through a header pipe and then to a vertical member containing a multitude of orifices. The flow of the water through the orifices creates a misting effect facilitating evaporative cooling.

After the initial installation of the adapter to the water return line (less than 2 minutes), The Pool Cooler connects anis fully functional in less than 30 seconds. Disconnection of the The Pool Cooler is just as quick. Protruding about 4-6 inches from the pool's edge, The Pool Cooler is virtually nonexistent to all swimmers. This device works while your filtration system is running therefore the cost to operate is no more than what you are currently spending to filter your water. When your pool's water reaches the desired temperature, simply remove the The Pool Cooler, leaving the adapter installed for the next time the cooler is needed. Being made of a durable plastic, it is most likely the last cooling device you will ever need.

For best results, run your filtration system at night when theoutside air is at its' coolest. It is also recommended to installThe Pool Cooler at each end of your pool.

Installation:

Remove any fittings currently in the return outlet preferably by Strap wrench. Screw the threaded adapter into the return outlet. Position the header pipe at the opening of the adapter with the top of the header pipe pointing towards 10 o’clock. While pressing the header pipe into the adapter*, straighten the pipe to an upright position. Next, insert the sprayer into the top of the header pipe with its holes positioned for the best return of the water into the pool. An extra plug is added to this kit in case more pressure is needed (in-ground only). Do not allow children to swing on The Pool Cooler.

I installed 2 in the DFW area 3 days ago. My pool with 2 fountains I could only keep at around 87 or 88 degrees on the hottest days. Yesterday it was 105 outside and my pool never got above 82.5 degrees. This morning I awoke to the pool being 77 degrees. I have been trying to keep this thing cool for years now and this has been very close to miraculous in my eyes. I have told everyone I know with a pool about these things so expect more orders soon!!!
